Image Use & Copyright Policy

1. Ownership of Images

All photographs taken by 'Photography by L Webb' are the sole and exclusive property of 'Photography by L Webb'. This includes, but is not limited to:

    •    Portraiture

    •    Studio sessions

    •    Weddings & celebrations

    •    Architecture

    •    Landscape portfolios

These works are protected under United Kingdom copyright law (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988) and applicable international treaties.
 

2. Licence for Use

Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use purchased images for personal, non-commercial purposes only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Examples of permitted use include:

    •    Personal display in print or digital form

    •    Sharing with friends and family

    •    Posting on personal social media accounts (with credit)

3. Restrictions

Images may not be:

    •    Copied, reproduced, or distributed without consent

    •    Altered, edited, cropped, or digitally manipulated without consent

    •    Published in print or online for commercial gain

    •    Sold, licensed, or entered into competitions without consent

Any such actions without prior written permission will be considered a breach of copyright.

4. Commercial & Third-Party Use

Commercial use (e.g., advertising, marketing, resale, editorial publication) is strictly prohibited unless a separate commercial licence has been purchased.

5. Enforcement

Unauthorized use of images may result in:

    •    Removal requests from websites and platforms

    •    Legal proceedings

    •    Claims for damages and loss of income
